Belle is the sweetest little girl. We've got big hopes for her but for now she's just working on growing up! 

Her first show will be in Brenham on May 25th. Wish us luck!

Junior American Alpine doe

We bought Bunny from Sharp's Goat Ranch. We went to buy milk and came home with that, plus a goat. Whoops! Bunny is currently visiting with Whiteoak-Bend Calvary, an Alpine buck owned by Belle's breeder. We're very excited to get her back home, though, and the prospect of milk sooner rather than later is very alluring. Because Alpines are seasonal breeders we are trying CIDRs, so hopefully she will take. 

Right now she is very bumhigh, swaybacked, and has a steep rump. I am hoping that as she matures a bit more she will level out a bit. If nothing else she has a great personality and we will enjoy her as a home milker.
